La canción como espejo humano

Abstract

Human beings sing from a very early age spontaneously and naturally. Singing is one of the best ways to express and communicate. Singing is an epistemological category, a form of knowledge, and at the same time a kind of therapy that works as a catharsis for emotions and feelings. Songs are a human mirror, both for the individual and the group: a way of having access to reality and explaining the world. Songs are an excellent didactic resource that has music as the means and the human being as its goal. The social function of songs goes beyond their musical function: it settles in our interior from the cradle and never leaves us. At the end of our life, we have a musical biography: songs and music that have accompanied us in our daily routines.

Los seres humanos cantamos desde pequeños de una forma espontánea y natural. Cantar es una de las mejores formas de expresión y comunicación. El canto es una categoría epistemológica, una forma de conocimiento, a la vez que una forma de terapia que realiza la función de catarsis de emociones y sentimientos. La canción es un espejo humano, tanto individual como grupal: una forma de acceder a la realidad y explicarse el mundo. La canción es un excelente recurso didáctico que encuentra en la música el medio y que tiene como finalidad el propio ser humano. La función social de las canciones ultrapasa su función musical: arraiga en nuestro interior desde la cuna y no nos abandona. Al final de nuestra vida tenemos una biografía musical: canciones y músicas que han acompañado nuestro deambular diario.
