Com un docent pot ser competent digitalment?: Guia de recursos tecnològics i digitals per l’Educació Infantil

Abstract

Avui dia, les Tecnologies de la Informació i la Comunicació (TIC) prenen un paper important en l'educació. Tant que el nou marc de referència legislatiu contempla la Competència Digital al segon cicle d'Educació Infantil. Cal insistir en perquè és important ser competent digitalment i com això, es veu condicionat per la formació dels mestres i els recursos tecnològics i digitals dels quals fan ús. Així doncs, aquest article té com a objectiu indagar sobre el nivell de coneixement dels mestres envers la Competència Digital Docent, i aprofundir en com aquests estan preparats per donar resposta digitalment a les necessitats dels infants. I de manera més específica, també contempla explorar els diferents recursos tecnològics i digitals per aplicar a educació infantil, i crear finalment, una guia per a mestres que els reculli. S'han analitzat qüestionaris de 90 mestres i estudiants de magisteri i, dues entrevistes a experts del sector tecnològic i educatiu. Els resultats indiquen que gran part dels alumnes participants consideren tenir una bona competència digital, però alguns d'ells manifesten no saber transferir-la a l'aula. No obstant això, gràcies a les respostes dels experts i futurs docents s’ha dissenyat una guia a través d’Instagram, tal com suggerien, davant la manca d’un espai on es puguin trobar un recull de tots els recursos tecnològics i digitals.

Today, Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) play an important role in education. In fact, the new legislative reference framework includes Digital Competence in the second cycle of Early Childhood Education. Therefore, it is important to insist on the relevance of digital competence and how this is conditioned by the training of teachers and the technological and digital resources that they use. Therefore, theobjective of this article is to investigate the level of knowledge of teachers about Digital Teaching Competence, and to delve into how they are prepared to respond digitally to children’s needs. And more specifically, it also contemplates exploring the different technological and digital resources to be applied to early childhood education, and finally creating a guide for teachers that includes them. We have analysed questionnaires carried out with 90 teachers and students and two interviews with experts of the technological and educational sector. The results indicate that most of the participating students consider that they have the necessary skills, but some of them report not knowing how to transfer them to the classroom. However, thanks to the responses of the experts and future teachers, a guide has been designed through Instagram, as they suggested, given the lack of a space where a compilation of all the technological and digital resources can be found.
