L'educació artística al servei del pensament creatiu

Abstract

Un dels reptes actuals de l’educació és educar als infants per tal que es puguin adaptar a la societat complexa i en constant canvi en què ens trobem. En aquest aspecte el pensament creatiu té un gran protagonisme i, una de les maneres de potenciar-lo és a partir de l’educació artística ja que, més enllà del treball tècnic, permet desenvolupar aspectes cognitius totalment necessaris per a aquesta societat de canvi. Amb aquesta recerca es pretén analitzar la importància del pensament creatiu a l’educació, així com definir com hauria de ser l’educació artística per tal de desenvolupar-lo. Per a aquesta tasca, s’ha realitzat una revisió bibliogràfica sobre el tema i s’han realitzat entrevistes semi-estructurades a diferents expertes. Els resultats obtinguts constaten que el pensament creatiu hauria de ser un element essencial en educació, i que l’educació artística reuneix les condicions necessàries per desenvolupar-lo. Per tal que això sigui possible, haurien de ser propostes interdisciplinaris que s‘originin a partir de les experiències dels propis infants, plantejaments oberts que provoquin reptes, que hi hagi un acostament a les diferents manifestacions artístiques a partir de la pròpia experiència i no de la còpia literal, generar reflexió i crítica sobre la societat. Per tant, l’educació artística ha d’anar més enllà del desenvolupament únic de la tècnica i donar més importància als aspectes cognitius que es poden desenvolupar a través de l’art.

An ongoing challenge in education is to educate children so they can adapt themselves to the constantly changing and complex society in which we live. In this concern, creative thinking skills have a great importance, and one way to promote them is from art education because, beyond the technical work, they allow to develop cognitive aspects totally necessary nowadays. The main aim of this research is to analyze the importance of creative thinking in education, and how art education should be in order to develop it. I address this through an examination of a literature review and semi-structured interviews to several experts on the subject. The obtained results show that the creative thinking should be an essential and irrelevant element in education, besides, this results say that the artistic education has the main and needed conditions to develop that kind of thinking. To make all this possible there should be interdisciplinary proposals which have the origin in the children's experiences, open-minded approaches to lead the childs to different challenges. Kids mustn't get different artistic skills and strategies and displays from copying something, but from their own experiences. It is important to generate social reflection and criticism. Therefore, the artistic education must go beyond the mere and simple development of the thecnique, the most important things must be the cognitive aspects that can be developed trough arts.
