Formació, estratègies i percepció sobre gestió i resolució de conflictes a l’aula de primària

Abstract

Actualment, el tema de la gestió i la resolució de conflictes a l'escola ha rebut un interés social considerable. En els darrers anys, hem vist diversos casos a través dels mitjans de comunicació en els quals la mala gestió escolar ha resultat en conseqüències nefastes per a alumnes i famílies. A causa d’aquesta mancança, recentment els investigadors en educació s’han interessat per aquest problema. Amb l’objectiu de solucionar-ho, s’han publicat llibres i documents sobre la convivència a l’aula, amb guies específiques sobre com afrontar els conflictes a l’escola. L’objectiu d’aquest estudi és esbrinar si aquest coneixement ha arribat als mestres i s’utilitza a l’aula per a gestionar i resoldre els conflictes de forma satisfactòria per mestres i famílies. Per fer-ho, s’ha distribuït una enquesta a aquests dos grups de la comunitat educativa per conèixer la preparació dels mestres, les seves accions i l’impacte d’aquestes a l’aula, així com la satisfacció de mestres i famílies en la gestió de conflictes a l’aula. Els resultats de la investigació posen de manifest les mancances que hi ha en la formació inicial dels mestres i les diferències de percepció i valoració entre els mestres i les famílies, en relació a la tasca que duen a terme els docents en l’àmbit que ens ocupa.

Nowadays, the issue of conflict management and resolution at school has received considerable social interest. In recent years, we have seen a variety of cases through the media in which school mismanagement has resulted in dire consequences for students and families. Due to this shortcoming, recently, education researchers have been interested in this problem. With the aim of solving this, they have published books and documents on how coexistence should be in the classroom, with specific guides on how to deal with conflicts at school. The purpose of the current study is to find out if this knowledge has reached teachers and is used in the classroom for management of conflicts, satisfactorily for teachers and families. A survey was administered to these two groups of the educational community in order to find out the preparation of teachers, which are their actions and the impact that it has on students, as well as the satisfaction of the teachers and families in the management and resolution of conflicts in the classroom. The results of the research highlight the shortcomings in the initial training of teachers and the differences in perception and assessment between teachers and families, concerning the work carried out by teachers in the field of conflicts.
