Proposta de millora del pati d'educació infantil de l'escola de Sant Ignasi

Abstract

Actualment, un infant està més de 500 hores al pati durant tot un curs escolar. Realment som conscients dels beneficis que aporta aquest espai? El següent article pretén reflectir la importància que té el pati en l’etapa d’educació infantil. Evidentment, tractarem aspectes com el joc dels infants, la normativa que regeix un pati, alguns exemples de bons patis escolars, entre d’altres. L’escola Sant Ignasi (Jesuïtes Sarrià) ha estat el centre triat per analitzar si conté un pati prou educatiu. Aquest treball ens portarà a realitzar un estudi d’aquest espai intentant implicar a tots els membres que formen part de la institució, com són: els mestres, la coordinadora d’educació infantil i els infants. A través de tècniques com l’observació i de la col·laboració d’experts ens aproparem a la realitat del pati, per així finalment definir una proposta que s’adapti a les necessitats de tots els qui formen l’escola, en concret els nens i nenes del centre. A partir d’aquesta idea, suggerirem espais més definits que creïn ambients diferenciats, per tal d’evitar que els diferents tipus de jocs que desenvolupen els infants es barregin. De manera que realitzarem una millora a nivell estructural del pati d’educació infantil de Jesuïtes Sarrià amb el propòsit d’integrar-lo dins el Projecte Educatiu de Centre.

Nowadays, an infant spends more than 500 hours at the school playground during a school year. But, are we really aware of the benefits that come with this area? The following article wants to reflect the importance of the playground during the stage of early childhood education. Obviously, we will reveal aspects of the childhood’s games, the playgrounds’ regulations, and some examples of appropriated school playgrounds, among other issues. Sant Ignasi School (Jesuïtes Sarrià) has been the chosen center to analyze if its playground is educative enough. The proposal will be made from a study of the area, integrating all members that are involved like teachers, the coordinator and the infants. Through different techniques, as could be the observation technique and the collaboration of experts, we will approach the Jesuïtes Sarrià playground’s reality, in order to make a proposition to a better adaptation to all members of the faculty’s necessities, specially the infants’. From this point, we will suggest more specified areas that create different ambiences, so that the different kinds of games that the children will enjoy will not be mixed. In this way, we will develop an upgrade of the playground, at a structural level, with the purpose of integrating it to the Education Project of the Center.
