Video game structural features are related to Internet Gaming Disorder and motivations of play: Design and validation of the Video Game Structure Scale Carmona, Arnau Structural characteristics of video games influence the development of maladaptive behavioral patterns such as Internet Gaming Disorder (IGD). The aim of this study was to develop and validate a tool to evaluate users’ perceptions of video game structural features. The sample was comprised of 502 gamers with an average age of 23.35 years (SD = 6.89). 67.3 % used a personal computer, 20.7 % a desktop console, 11.4 % a mobile platform, and 0.6 % a portable console. Multiple exploratory factor analyses were conducted to identify the optimal model. Initial evidence of reliability, construct, and external validity was found (TLI and CFI > .90, RMSEA <.06, SRMR <.08). Structural features were categorized into three primary factors: social, control, and reward. After a multiple linear regression, structural features and gaming motivations explain 19% of the variance in IGD. In conclusion, the scale demonstrates solid psychometric properties for assessing how Spanish-speaking players perceive the structural characteristics of video games and how these relate to the development of IGD. Estilo personal del terapeuta y Alianza terapéutica: particularidades en la atención terapéutica en población infantil con diagnóstico Trastorno del Espectro Autista Falomir, María Paula El presente estudio explora la conexión entre el Estilo Personal del Terapeuta (EPT) y la Alianza Terapéutica (AT) en intervenciones psicoterapéuticas dirigidas a niños con Trastorno del Espectro Autista (TEA). A partir de un diseño cualitativo exploratorio, se realizaron entrevistas a seis terapeutas especializados en psicoterapia infantojuvenil, lo que permitió identificar estrategias específicas utilizadas en la práctica clínica. Los hallazgos resaltan la importancia de la flexibilidad, la empatía y la capacidad de los terapeutas para adaptarse a las necesidades personales y evolutivas del niño y a su contexto familiar y educativo. Asimismo, se concluye que la implicación activa de los cuidadores y la colaboración con el entorno escolar son fundamentales para fortalecer la AT y optimizar los resultados terapéuticos. Este trabajo contribuye al desarrollo de enfoques terapéuticos más integrales y personalizados, abriendo nuevas líneas de investigación en psicología clínica infantojuvenil.; This study investigates the interplay between the Therapist’s Personal Style (TPS) and the Therapeutic Alliance (TA) in psychotherapeutic interventions for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Through an exploratory qualitative design, interviews were conducted with six therapists specializing in child and adolescent psychotherapy, identifying specific strategies employed in clinical practice. The findings underscore the importance of flexibility, empathy, and the therapist's ability to adapt to the unique characteristics of the child and their family and educational contexts. Additionally, the active involvement of caregivers and collaboration with the educational environment were found to be crucial for strengthening the TA and enhancing therapeutic outcomes. This research contributes to the development of more comprehensive and tailored therapeutic approaches, paving the way for further studies in child clinical psychology. Primers brots psicòtics i consum de tòxics des d’una perspectiva de gènere: Una revisió sistemàtica Seguer González-Coronado, Paula La present revisió analitza la relació entre el consum de cànnabis (TCC) i l’aparició dels primers episodis psicòtics (PEP) des d’una perspectiva de gènere, identificant diferències en patrons de consum i impactes clínics. Es va realitzar una revisió sistemàtica seguint les guies PRISMA a través de bases de dades com Google Scholar, PubMed, PsycInfo, Scopus, Cochrane Library i APA PsycNet. Dels 40 articles identificats només 8 van complir amb els criteris d’inclusió. Els resultats evidencien que el consum de cànnabis és un factor significativament associat a l’aparició del PEP, amb major prevalença en homes, mentre que les dones mostren un curs més sever i pitjor pronòstic a llarg termini. A més, es destaca que la subrepresentació de la dona en les investigacions analitzades dificulta l’accés a un tractament de qualitat.; This review analyzes the relationship between cannabis use (CBC) and the onset of first psychotic episodes (FPE) from a gender perspective, identifying differences in patterns of use and clinical impacts. A systematic review was conducted following the PRISMA guidelines through databases such as Google Scholar, PubMed, PsycInfo, Scopus, Cochrane Library and APA PsycNet. Of the 40 articles identified, only 8 met the inclusion criteria. Thus, the results show that cannabis use is a factor significantly associated with the onset of PEP, with a higher prevalence in men, while women show a more severe course and worse long-term prognosis. In addition, the underrepresentation of women in the research analyzed is highlighted and claimed, which hinders access to quality treatment. L’Impacte del Gènere en l’Avaluació del Trastorn de l'Espectre Autista: Proposta de revisió de l’ADOS-2 Vilargonter Caballeria, Paula Aquest estudi quantitatiu analitza les limitacions i propostes de millora de l’Escala d’Observació pel Diagnòstic de l’Autisme - 2 (ADOS-2) (Lord et al., 2015), amb un enfocament en les diferències de gènere en el diagnòstic del Trastorn de l’Espectre Autista (TEA). Els professionals entrevistats han assenyalat que l’ADOS-2 presenta limitacions importants, com la subjectivitat de l’administrador i la necessitat d’utilitzar proves complementàries per garantir un diagnòstic acurat. En aquest context, l’instrument no és prou sensible per detectar trets subtils associats al camuflatge, fet que contribueix al fenomen d’infradiagnosticació en dones. Les conclusions de l’estudi subratllen la importància d’actualitzar les eines diagnòstiques, com l’ADOS-2, d’acord amb les revisions dels manuals diagnòstics. També s’emfatitza la necessitat d’aprofundir en el coneixement de les manifestacions del TEA en la població femenina per millorar la detecció, garantir un diagnòstic més equitatiu i atendre les necessitats específiques de tots els gèneres.; This quantitative study analyzes the limitations and proposals for improvement of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Scale - 2 (ADOS-2) (Lord et al., 2015), with a focus on gender differences in the diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The professionals interviewed have pointed out that the ADOS-2 has important limitations, such as the subjectivity of the administrator and the need to use complementary tests to ensure an accurate diagnosis. In this context, the instrument is not sensitive enough to detect subtle traits associated with camouflage, a fact that contributes to the phenomenon of underdiagnosis in women. The conclusions of the study highlight the importance of updating diagnostic tools, such as the ADOS-2, in line with revisions of diagnostic manuals. They also emphasize the need to deepen the knowledge of the manifestations of ASD in the female population in order to improve detection, and to ensure a more equitable diagnosis and meet the specific needs of all genders.
