“Barcelona foradada”, 1937-1939: projecte d'accessibilitat al patrimoni de la ciutat

Abstract

L’article està estructurat en dues parts. En la primera es fa una descripció d’un projecte concret d’accessibilitat al patrimoni i en la segona es presenta una explicació sobre patrimoni i recurs turístic i de lleure i una justificació del treball realitzat. Els bombardejos sobre la ciutat de Barcelona durant la guerra civil del 1936-39 van tenir com a conseqüència la creació de nombrosos refugis antiaeris soterranis, construïts majoritàriament per la pròpia població per a la seva defensa. El projecte “Barcelona foradada” vol recuperar aquest patrimoni i presentar-lo a la ciutat des del cim del Turó de la Rovira per tal que, des d’aquell mirador privilegiat, es pugui transmetre una explicació global del fet històric. A la vegada es pretén protegir i dignificar aquella zona de la ciutat. Es tracta d’un projecte amb el que Barcelona tindrà un nou recurs per al lleure i el turisme. La transformació del Patrimoni en recurs a través de la millora de l’accessibilitat tant física com intel·lectual serà el camí per assolir-ho. Aquest article descriu i explica un projecte d’interpretació del patrimoni realitzat durant el curs 2009-2010 a TSI - Turismo Sant Ignasi. El treball va ser presentat com a projecte de fi nal de carrera per Lara Altieri, Laura Pons i Susanna Rosell, i la professora Imma Solà-Morales com a tutora.

This article is divided into two parts. The first is a description of a specific project on accessibility to heritage sites and the second presents an explanation of heritage sites and tourist and recreational resources and a justification of research. The bombing of Barcelona during the civil war of 1936-1939 resulted in the creation of numerous underground shelters, built mostly by the population for their own defense and protection. The project “Holes in the city of Barcelona” aims to restore this heritage and present it to the city from the top of Turo de la Rovira, so that, from this privileged vantage point, a comprehensive historical explanation can be presented. At the same time this study aims to protect and dignify this area of the city. It is a project which aims to show that Barcelona can have a new resource for leisure and tourism. The transformation of the heritage resource through improved accessibility, both physical and intellectual will be the way of achieving this. This article presents a description and justification of a heritage interpretation project, carried out during the 2009-2010 academic year at TSI - Turismo Sant Ignasi, Ramon Llull University, Barcelona. The research was presented as a final dissertation project by students Lara Altieri, Laura and Suzanna Pons Rosell and Prof. Imma Sola-Morales as academic advisor.
