La pedagogía profesional del siglo XXI

Abstract

El artículo hace un breve repaso en torno a tres aspectos fundamentales respecto la pedagogía y la función profesional del pedagogo/a del siglo XXI. En primer lugar reseñar algunos de los ejes de transición pedagógica en los que estamos inmersos en este cambio de siglo. En segundo lugar, y derivado de este primer análisis, se apuntan algunos aspectos de la evolución de la identidad profesional pedagógica y de su formación universitaria. Finalmente, se apunta la importancia que en este proceso tendrá la capacidad de organización profesional del colectivo para poder desarrollar óptimamente su función social.

The article undertakes a brief revision of three main aspects of Pedagogy and the professional role of the pedagogue in the 21st century. Firstly, the text revises some of the main lines of the pedagogical transition currently taking place in the new century. Secondly, the study points out some main traces of the evolution of the professional identity of the pedagogue and its related university training process. Finally, the argument of the article underlines the relevance of the professional organisation of the pedagogue in order to fully cope with its social function.
